ESCA's Bartolacci to Speak at Franklin Regional

ESCAESCA's Advocacy Coordinator, Dreama Bartolacci, will be addressing the Franklin Regional Middle School on May 26. Her topics will include:

* What Advocacy is?

* What is a Developmental Disability.

* Examples of Disabilities.

* Speaking up for Yourself.

* Careers in Advocacy.

* And Much More!!!

Dreama had been working at East Suburban Citizen Advocacy for the past two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities. It should be an enlightening presentation for the middle school students.

Idlewild Tickets - $25.00 (100 tickets Available)
The gate price at Idlewild this year is $43.99. Children 2 and under are free. Tickets are valid TUESDAY - THURSDAY only June 6-Aug 17, 2017. Tickets cannot be upgraded to weekend usage and are Void after August 17, 2017.

Sandcastle Tickets - $20.00 (300 tickets Available)
The weekday gate price at Sandcastle is $32.99 for adults and $22.99 for children under 48 inches tall ($35.99/$25.99 on weekends). Tickets are valid any operating day in 2017.

Kennywood tickets are not available this year.

Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis and mailed upon receipt of payment.

ESCA Trailblazers

As Murrysville’s only official inclusive running club, ESCA Trailblazers will begin its summer session on Tuesday, June 6, at the Murrysville Community Park – Miracle Field. Registration is at 6:45 PM; membership is $10. All members will receive a free T-shirt. Current members need not register and may simply show up for the run/walk, which is at 7:00 PM.

ESCA Trailblazers is sponsored by East Suburban Citizen Advocacy, whose mission is to provide advocacy and build inclusive opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Special Needs at Play

The Murrysville Recreation, Penn-Trafford Area Recreation Commission and Monroeville Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite you to S.N.A.P. Special Needs at Play, June 21 at Murrysville Community Park Rotary Miracle Sports Complex.

The event will run from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm for ages 6-21 and will provide a variety of fun activities such as face painting, a DJ, field games like baseball, volleyball and basketball, crafts, a nature walk, a playground,frisbee, spin art, and more!

Participants only need to provide their own lunch but parents , aides or caregivers will need to remain at the event. LIght refreshments will be provided. Bring a favorite baseball glove, if desired.
